Editor’s Note: Since the reform and opening-up, China has undergone profound transformations, with foreign multinational companies playing a key role. As important participants, they have provided indispensable momentum for China’s journey toward high-quality development. Meanwhile, the global expansion of Chinese multinational enterprises has brought new energy to the nation’s growth. This year marks the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, we are launching the special coverage "Multinationals on China" to review the course of China’s high-level opening-up.

Anuruddha Rathninde, VP and President amp; APAC of Johnson Controls, expressed his optimism for aligning with China’s growth. He said, "As China's economy is growing, we want to make sure that we are aligned with the new policies."

Rathninde added,"At the same time, we promote our products, technologies, and solutions to our customers and partners."

He highlighted Johnson Controls' longstanding presence in China, with "over 50 branches, about ten manufacturing plants, and three Ramp;D centers" nationwide.

"We've built great relationships with local governments because we're relevant to the government agenda, to the public, and to our customers," Rathninde noted.
